- How has the service-learning experience changed my thinking, attitudes, and actions towards others, myself and the community?
After experiencing service learning, I realize that i am actually very fortunate. I should learn to treasure what i have and I should not take things for granted. Now, I am more aware about the needs of those who are less fortunate.
- What stands out as the best or worst thing that happened to you in your service learning experience? What did you learn from these experiences?
The sense of achievement after completing every task was the best thing. Being able to contribute to the society is something that I am proud of. I am more aware about the situations happening around me and I have matured in the way I think and act.
- Do you see yourself staying involved in the community during your college and adult years? Why or why not?
Yes. We should always contribute back to the community, even when we are working. There is always someone out there who needs our help and we should always be there for them.
