3G Lee Jing Wei (15)

After my service learning at the Down Syndrome Association, I have learnt to appreciate the unfortunate ones. I knew that they did not want to be the way they are, hence we should not neglect them. As a fortunate person, we should instead give them more concern and understand more about them. My class sold ice-cream to get them a television monitor. It was not only a fun but memorable experience as i get to have fun and at the same time contribute to society. I will stay involved in the community as I hope to influence more youngsters to contribute to society too. As more people lend a helping hand, the unfortunate ones could then lead a normal life.
