This Service Learning has been not just an enjoyable experience, but a valuable one. It has taught me that there is less fortunate people in the world and that they are in need of help. After going to the Down Syndrome Association, it not only open my eyes but my heart too as to lend a helping hand to those in need. This experience has changed the way i feel and think about them. It gave me a sense of how important it is to help them. The best experience was the selling of ice-creams as i had to coordinate with my other classmates to ensure that everything goes well. It was also really fun as my class had a good time. Even though we were laughing and cracking jokes, we were still serious. I feel that i will continue in helping the community once i have reached adult life. Doing something for the community is something special, priceless and important to ensure that everyone, including the less fortunate, is happy.
